The Mayor distributed copies of the 1989-1990 preliminary budget for
the Council to review before adopting it on July 18th. The General
Fund and Sewer Fund budgets are not balanced yet.
• The 43-star flag, which has been flying over City Hall during
Centennial Days, will be lowered tonight and donated to the Laurel
Museum, Inc.
There is 1 vacancy and possible 2 vacancies on the Board of
Adjustments. John Goodman and Marvin Carter are interested in
serving on the Board.
