Bob Gauthier distributed the police activity report for
August.
Jim Flisrand's last day is Friday, September 22nd.
They are still working on the Thomson Park project. They
are pouring the concrete for the sidewalk now, and the concession
stand is on the Council agenda tonight.
Next week the crew will lay a couple of water lines.
The County will give us some help on Railroad Street.
Street sweeping will end on October 1st.

Discussion as to when the loading zone will be in operation
at the BN crew quarters.
The Jaycee's are looking for a place to put on their
"Haunted House" during Halloween.
Bruce reported on the nice job that was done remodeling the
old nursing home.
L.D. Collins reported that Family Auto Sales has requested
a City license and that they will be at the Council meeting
tonight.
Jim reported on the Landfill situation and that we may have
another year before we have to close it.
Cal Cumin reported on the Port Authority.

Cal Cumin also reported on a letter from the Yellowstone
County Commissioners regarding the proposed 100 bed Veterans
Nursing Home.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:50 p.m.
