Bob distributed the Police activity report for may.
40 Jim gave an update on the bathroom/concession stand. The
building will be painted in a couple of weeks.
The swimming pool will be filled Thursday and is scheduled
to open Saturday. There are sufficient Lifeguards now.
The Mayor reported that he signed the "Cantrell" resolution
yesterday. He has until July 4th to comply with the conditions
in the resolution. Mr. Cantrell has begun to work to meet these
conditions.
Discussion regarding weed cutting around town.
Jim had a meeting with the Highway Department regarding the
proposal work on Maryland Lane. They will go out for bid in
November with construction to begin next spring.
Discussion regarding spraying weeds around town. Andy
Loebe still needs to be certified before spraying can be done.
It was suggested that the Correspondence and Committee
reports be reviewed before the Council meeting tonight.
Cal Cumin suggested that the City Council send a letter to
the State Board of Health to urge their positive action regarding
the issuance of a permit to Conoco for the coker project in
Billings.

Cal discussed the Trade-Port budget, the 2 mill assessment,
and the money going to the Billings Chamber of Commerce. .
The meeting was adjourned at 6:52 p.m.
