Collins Bob Graham Lonnie Kellogg Others present: Alan Crowe Jim Worthington Don Hackmann D.L. McGillen Dave Michael Discussion regarding the 1990-91 preliminary budget. Bob Graham reported that the Garbage Committee recommended to raise the collection fee by .504? a month and will possibly start the paper work around September 1st. Discussed cash receive& in the General Fund, Water Fund and Solid Waste fund. Most of the other funds are doing OK. Bob Gauthier reported that we are still short about 5 employees; Maintenance Director, Laborer, Relief Dispatcher, Janitor for City Hall, and a patrolman. Don reported that we received a half of a payment from Ernie Davis yesterday and he is now 3 months behind in his scheduled payments. Bob Gauthier mentioned that we have increased the employee blanket bond from $10,000 to $50,000. The estimated gas tax revenues for 1990-91 is about $5,000 more than we received last year. D.L. McGillen reported that Fire District #7 was recently audited by the State of Montana and that they were informed that Fire District's do fall under the restraints of Y 105. They were told earlier by the County Attorney that they do not. 40 r . Al Page 2 City Council Committee of the Whole July 17, 1990 0 .Sob encouraged everyone to review the Committee reports. Bob Graham reported that another accident has occured at the intersection of 6th Avenue and 9th Street. He and his neighbors urge the Council to take a serious look at this intersection and request that a stop sign be placed here. A neighbor lady commented that she is going to file a law suit against the City if a stop sign isn't placed at this intersection soon. Jim Worthington gave an update on the Cantrell property.
