Bob distributed the police activity report for October.

Bob suggested that the Garbage Committee minutes and Public
Utility Committee minutes be reviewed before the council meeting.
There is a resolution on the agenda tonight regarding no
smoking in City Hall.
Received two lettersof interest regarding appointment to the
Airport Authority Board.
Bob Gauthier apologized for not being here for the last two
council meetings.
Officer Turley's probation is up and the Mayor plans on
appointing him as a permanent police officer at the council meeting
tonight.
Jim commented on putting up Christmas lights next week.

Bruce commented on the appointment of ambulance reserve
attendants.
Ron asked a question about the job vacancies that are
currently being advertised through job service. Bob Gauthier
explained the procedure for filling these positions.
Discussion regarding the Merchant Apartments. Rob Harris
and Jim will make an inspection.
Don Hackmann commented about the front door to City Hall being
left unlocked occassionally after evening meetings.

Bob Gauthier gave an update on the WWTP claim by Volk
Construction.
Review all correspondence and committee reports.
