Bob suggested that the Garbage Committee recommendation on
the refuse hauling truck be reviewed.
The City has hired two new employees. One in solid waste
and the other a mechanic.
Discussion regarding the bid on a roll-off truck. Bob
Graham said that he will explain more when the committee report
is presented.
Review correspondence. There are 2 resignations- ambulance
attendant and a member of the City County Planning Board.
Review Committee reports before the Council meeting.
D.L. McGillen, Fire Chief, reported that from July 1st to
date, there have been 80-85 fire calls.
No word has been received from Jim Martin regarding the
Merchant apartments.
Bob Gauthier reported that we are taking a look at the
Groshelle Pond which the county wants to turn over to the City.
One problem is that there is no access to it.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:40 p.m..
