Bids for the new police car will be opened at the meeting.
Only one bid was received from Fichtner Chervolet.
The pier to the water plant is being cleaned and the winter
suction line will be installed in approximately two weeks.
Jim Worthington mentioned that state law now requires
cities to participate in one call servicing for underground
line locations. There is a fee to belong and Jim said there
is no regulation requiring private companies to belong.
Cheryl Marshall informed the Council that the ambulance
service is in the process of doing a fund raising project to
secure funds for a new ambulance. Letters will be sent to
organizations and businesses asking for donations to the Capital
Projects Fund.
The City received a dog kennel from Yellowstone County
and it will be assembled at the city shop yards. The total size
is 8' x 92' and will have four individual cells.
Bob Gauthier was contacted by Jim Kraft regarding the
Master Plan - Community Awareness & Emergency Response Plan.
Anyone interested in serving on this committee should contact
Bob.
