..Bob Graham reported that Fred Winters has fifteen types of
appliances sitting in the backyard of his residence and other
• miscellaneous items. The Council will talk.. to Joe.
Jim reported that we now own the Williams property and the
Council needs to make a decision if the City should rent it,
board it up, or what.
Jim mentioned that Mr. Valentine was brought back into court
again to clean up his property. He has cleared up some of it,
but still has more to do.
Jim said that he has not had anymore complaints on modern
Auto and Thomae Lumber.
Ron Marshall suggested that we all look around our own wards
and come up with a list and get them to all clean up at once.
Discussion regarding junked cars in yards and driveways.
Review Police Committee minutes regarding the police car bid.
The Classification appeals committee minutes are for the
Council's information.
Jim reported that all the City's buildings are covered under
one $5,000.00 deductible. An adjuster has estimated that the hail
40 caused about $121,000 damaged to 26 buildings. One contractor
has indicated that he would do the repair work for that amount,
but this has to go out for bid. (Correction- according to MCA
7-5-4303, since this is considered an emergency according to MCA
7-6-4251, this does not have to go out for bid).
