Review the two letters of protest regarding the child care
center at 1238 4th Avenue.
• Review the Committee reports for tonight.
The classification appeals which are on the agenda tonight
will be postponed until the next Council meetinq.
Pete's Recycling Business license which is on the agenda
tonight will be postponed until next council meeting.
Discussion regarding the classification appeals, Several
Council members feel that this should be taken care of during
negotiations.
It was mentioned that the City already has an encroachment.
ordinance on the books, so another one may not be needed.
Discussion regarding the dump charges at the transfer site.
Jim explained how the charges are made for regular household
garbage and demolition materials. Bob Gauthier mentioned that
it is costing the City more now to haul garbage into Billings
due to the roof repairs and alot of old shingles are being
disposed of.
Cheryl Marshall mentioned that a Sargeant's position is
really necessary for better operation of the department and she
recommends that this position be filled.
