CITY COUNCIL CYMMITTEE OF THE WHOLE

Jim reported on a project to re-cycle Christmas trees. The
40 City will pick them up January 6th & 7th and take them to the
Zoo Montana site. They will have a chipper there to chop the
trees and use them for around their new tree lines and walkways.
Jim met last week with the Highway Department regarding the
South Bridge Project, which includes the City's water line
replacement. Everything seems to be in line. The ready date
is still February, which means the plans will be ready and the
bidding in May will be for immediate construction.
Midland Roofing was asked to come to the Council meeting
tonight. They already have their business license, but they
opened an office in downtown Laurel. They were asked to come
back to get approval. A fire inspection is still needed.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
