Bob Graham reported that a culvert at Wyoming and 9th Street
is broken up and needs to be repaired.
Albert was questioning where to find the code regarding the
. parking of mobile homes, busses, etc.. He wanted to know where
he could find it in the code book. (This is in regards to the
problem discussed at the last meeting regarding the parking of
a mobile home at the flea market). It was reported that this
is a zoning issue.
Lonnie questioned Jim if the playground that Burger King
installed interfered with the parking requirement. Jim said that
they still had sufficient parking spaces.
Read your correspondence for tonight's Council meeting.
Discussion regarding the Park next to Badger Square, which
is outside the City limits. Mr. Harding wants to rent the park
to pasture some horses. The people who live in the area are
really "up in arms" and don't want the horses in there. They
want it to remain a park.
This land is in the County, so they have to grant the lease.
However, since it is in the City's planning area it comes under
the City's jurisdiction. Jim will check further on this.
Chuck reported that part of the floor at the shop has been
poured.
Work on West Maryland Lane has been completed, extending
40 water and sewer to a lot.

Millings have been put on East Maryland. Next week oil will
be put on it and a 4" mat laid over to Alder.
Bob Graham wanted to know if we have heard any more about
the guy who fell on the stairs. Nothing, except that someone
saw him driving around.
Chuck reported that the stairway handrail has been fixed.
Also, the entrance canopy over the front door and Engineer's door
has been repaired. We need to start finding out the requirements
for rest rooms at the old Library building so that we can get
those remodeled and get the Council Chambers and the Courtroom
moved over there.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:45 p.m.
Respectfully submitted,
SD??
