Bob Graham mentioned that Chuck Rodgers will not be here tonight
due to a family emergency in Wyoming.
Discussion regarding the proposed annexation of certain
lots in Mathis Subdivision. There appears to be sufficient protest
to not allow the annexation. There is a possibility that a new
proposal will be presented to annex just the west portion.
Albert Ehrlick reported that the grass and weeds north of the
Merchant Apartments need to be cut. Jim Worthington said that
a letter has been sent to the property owner.
Joe reported that on the agenda tonight is a contract or
rental agreement with a caretaker (Carl Hollabaugh) at Riverside
Park. Joe said that he didn't prepare anything because he doesn't
really know what to do on that. The safest thing to do is make
him pay rent and put him on as a city employee. Joe indicated
that by giving him free rent, in essence he is receiving a wage.
More discussion.
