Darrell McGillen said that item five on the council agenda
is regarding a fire bill sent because of a car accident. The
car caught on fire when the wrecker moved it. The gentleman
who received the bill is unhappy with the amount of the
• bill ($450.00).
Gay Easton reported that there is a problem with drainage
on West Maryland between 11th and 12th Avenues. There seems to
be a problem with the manhole. The City crew pumped it out
today, but it is not draining properly. The problem seems to
be between the manhole and a culvert. It may have to be dug
up to correct the problem.
Cheryl Marshall asked that the Council members write
individual letters to UPS,to help support a grant request for
a new ambulance.
Chuck Rodgers suggested that everyone review the Committee
minutes before the Council meeting tonight.
The meeting adjourned at 6:42 p.m.
