Collins Lonnie Kelloggs Don Hackmann Gay said that there wasn't much to report about the Transfer site until GEO Research completes their report next week. Discussion regarding the use of a larger truck to haul garbage to Billings. • The old dump has to be closed by December 31, 1992. If everything gets done by this time, we only have to meet state regulations. If we go beyond this deadline then we have to meet state and federal regulations. One example, is if we meet state regulations then our monitoring wells only have to be monitored three years. If we go beyond the 12-31-92 deadline then the wells have to be monitored for 30 years. L.D. Collins said that the main reason that he voted no on hiring GEO Research is that he doesn't think we have all of the facts on the table. There have been several landfill dump sites and there is a question of whether we may be liable for all of them. Hopefully, the only one we need to worry about is the one we are closing now. Gay said that there is a new transfer site in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, that possibly some of our people should go and see. Discussion regarding a proposed ordinance that would ban exotic animals in the City limits. The animal in particular is the wolf hybrid. The meeting was adjourned at 6:43 p.m. • Respectfully submitted, Don Hackmann City Clerk a',
