Collins Bob Graham Lonnie Kellogg Others present: Joe Bradley Mike Atkinson Jim worthington Vicki Metzger Dave Michael Don Hackmann Norman reported that the circuit for the computers at the FAP complex should be on a separate line. They had some problems when installing Christmas lights. This should be corrected as soon as possible. • Bob Graham said that he had two calls over the week-end regarding Pixley, and he turned this over to the Police Department. He also had calls regarding cats and this was turned over to the Animal Control Officer. Ron Marshall mentioned that the True Value Home Improvement Center has had vehicles for sale parked on their lot. Discussion. Someone will check into this a little further. Discussion regarding the ambulance bid which was advertised recently. The ambulance committee has not heard anything yet on the UPS grant application. Dave Michael reported that the landfill closing should be completed in about a week. There is a resolution on the Council agenda tonight regarding a garbage rate increase. This may be postponed for a month so the garbage committee can give this further study. Joe Bradley reported that the tobacco ordinances are not ready for tonight's council meeting. This will be put on the December 15, 1992 agenda. f Page 2 City Council Committee of the Whole meeting of Dec. 1, 1992 Also on the December 15th agenda is a resolution regarding the Volk Construction settlement. EPA has made a committment to participate in the settlement. Mike reported that Fitchner Chevrolet can come within $1,254 of the state bid from Bozeman Ford. But, that price does not include the fuel by-pass system or the partition between the front and back seat, which will cost between $300 and $500. Mike estimated that Fitchner's cost will run about $2,000 more than the other one. Ken Fitchner suggested that we go out for bid, so that he can show the Chevy Company the difference in the bids. It was suggested to just write a letter stating the cost of the state bid. Vicki reported that Gary Coddington and Jean Carroll Thompson will be in court in January. Joe reported that the County has already started action against Mr. Coddington on a nuisance case. Donna questioned if anyone has answered the letter that the City received from Dr. Stokke. This will be brought up under correspondence at tonight's Council meeting. Chuck reported that we have received a letter from the Yellowstone County Planning Board regarding the Certified Local Government program (C.L.G.). They want to create a Yellowstone Historical Preservation Board. Kent Harris is willing to serve on this board. Discussion regarding a mutual aid agreement with the Boys' Ranch.
