Montana League of Cities and Towns
District Legislative Meetings
May 18-22,2009
We have set the District Legislative Meetings for cities and towns in Central and Eastern Montana and along the Hi-
line for the week of May 18-22.
The purpose of these meetings is to update members on the results of the 2009 Legislature and to also provide new
information on the growth rates for the entitlement program and the inflationary adjustment for municipal budgets
for FY-30.
We will have complete information on the allocation of federal stimulus funds to cities and towns, other grant and
loan programs, property reappraisal and some new laws that may have an effect on municipal operations.
