M. Williams, Vice President (County Rep.) Otto J. Preikszas, Exec. Secty (City Rep.) Bus Roberts (City Rep.) Jim Seaton (County Rep.) Joe Bradley (City Rep.) Members absent: Gerald Shay, Member-at-Large Ed LaPrath (County Rep.) Debbie Ketterling (City Rep.) Jim Straw (County Rep.) Kenneth Christian (County Rep.) Also present: John MacMarrtin, Cumin Associates, Billings Clark Johnson, 308 Wyoming, Laurel Minutes of previous meeting approved as sent out. Bills approved for payment: Engineering Department in the amount of $200.00 for Administrative Services in July, 1982. CORRESPONDENCE: Letter from County Commissioners to Jim Seaton reappointing Tim to the Planning Board until June 30, 1984. Letter from County'Commissi.oners to R. M. Williams reappoint- ing him to the Planning Board until June 30, 1984. Letter regarding Federal Aid Urban Highways priorities read which were adopted by the Laurel City Council July 6th under Resolution No. 1914. Discussion of Maryland Lane r/o/w etc. Discussion of 1st Avenue. ELECTION OF OFFICERS: Motion from Otto Prei..kszas to re-elect trie entire slate of officers, seconded by Bus Roberts. Carried. Gerald Shay was re-elected as member-at-large. CLARK JOHNSON, HOME OCCUPATION: Referred to the board by the LiiTirel City Council. Mr. Johnson would like a home occupation as a general contractor doing construction, fencing, sprinkler systems, etc. No storage, no displays of merchandise. He owns a small tractor. Discussion. John MacMartin stated that we have dealt with this type of request once before by Chip Watts. i Motion from Otto Preikszas to recommend approval of this home occupation to the Laurel City Cokincil., seconded by Jim Seaton. -1- Planning Board July 8, 1982 I* John MacMartiri read a letter he is writing to the Laurel City Council regarding county land C/S tract to be dedicated as park near the Village Subdivision. John reported on the Nutting brain and trying to reactivate the district The budget committee met and reviewed tine Planning Board's requests. The committee will allow Cumin Associates $13,000 for its ser•vi_ces next year. John read a. letter he wrote to Larry Peterson regarding Gel Properties and "Sprucegrove Subdivision" and the certif:i.cate of survey process.
