Mr. Rudy Groshelle
West of Laurel, MT 59034
Dear Mr. Groshelle:
Regarding your property at Westbrooke Industrial Park: under the provisions
of the Laurel City- County Subdivision Regulations, any parcel of land provid-
ing unsubdivided, multiple spaces for mobile homes constitutes a subdivision,
and the multiple mobile homes must be licensed by the State Department of
Health and Environmental Sciences, as well as approved by the City of Laurel.
I realize the mobiles have been on -site for quite awhile, however, it is the
responsibility of the Board to pursue potential of planning laws
in the Laurel area. If you have an established legal right to locating the
mobile homes as you have, we need to be aware of it; if not, you will need
to remedy the situation.
The next meeting of this Planning Board is September 12, 1983, in the Laurel
City Council Chambers should you wish to explain your situation. In the
interim you can also contact me.
Sincerely,
Cal Cumin, AICP
Planning Advisor

Reference is made to the above sample of water submitted to our laboratory.
The laboratory examination of this sample showed no evidence of contamination.
This indicates that, as far as can be determined by a laboratory examination, the
water was safe for drinking at the time the sample was taken. However, these
results cannot be relied upon as indicating the safety of the water at all times
unless the source is properly located and maintained.
Any well construction which does not positively exclude all surface and sub-
surface contamination must be considered as dangerous to health.
All dust, pump spillage, surface drainage, bird droppings, scrapings from one's
shoes, etc., must be prevented from entering the well.
This examination does not include tests for hardness, minerals, iron, fluorides,
etc. nor does it include tests to determine suitability for irrigation or for stock
purposes.
Yours very truly,

Laurel, MT 59044
Dear Mr. Groshelle:
This letter is to verify in writing that Montana - Dakota Utilities
Company installed natural gas facilities consisting of a pipeline and
10 risers to an area west of Laurel known as the Laurel Trailer Court.
Due to the absence of any written data, I cannot determine the actual
date of the installation; however, in conversing with one of our employees,
Mr. Bob Savidge, he remembers digging the trench for this project and stated
the line was installed sometime between 1965 and 1970.
If I can be of further assistance, please advise.
Sincerely yours,
Henry,A. Meyers
