Meeting called to order by R. M. Williams, Vice President,
with the following members present:

Minutes of-previous meeting approved assent out. Bills
approved for payment: Engineering Department in the amount
of $200 for Administrative Services in January; Laurel Outlook
in the amount of $12.00 for advertising for public hearing
Ch. 17.96.010 Schedule of Fees.
PUBLIC HEARING, AMEND CH. 17.96.010 SCHEDULE OF FEES: No
protestors.. Public hearing scheduled for the purpose of
amending Ch. 17 of the Zoning Ordinance of the Laurel Municipal
Code, particularly Section 17.96.010 Schedule of Fees The
appropriate fee shall accompany the plat.or application.
The Planning Board shall set the policy and periodically adjust
same via public hearings. (Fees are designed to cover adver-
tising and postage,costs.) Notice was advertised 12Z/82 and
1/5/83 in the Laurel Outlook. ,Motion from Joe Bradley that we
table the change, seconded and passed. Mr. Bradley is to draw
up an ordinance for board's review at next meeting.
ANTHONY J. VERDI, HOME OCCUPATION: Anthony J. Verdi, present,
requesting a home occupation designation at 719 8th Avenue for
doing body work on cars and trucks. Cumin recommends denial.
Gerald Shay stated this is not in the.scope of home occupations
according to our regulations. Motion from Joe Bradley, second
from Gerald Shay, to recommend denial of the request. Jim
. Seaton reminded us of our "floating" commercial designed for
a convenience neighborhood grocery store in the NW area of town.
Motion carried.

Airport zoning public hearing scheduled for February 10, 1983,
with the Airport Authority invited to attend.
Letters regarding Linda Koch of 929 1st Avenue, Laurel, were
read. Consensus is no formal request was made to this board
for any action.
Meeting adjourned.

designation on the following described premises:
719 8th Avenue, Laurel
At a meeting of the Laurel-Yellowstone City-County
Planning Board held on January-13, 1983, the Board recommends
to the Laurel City Council that the petition for a home occu-
pation in the above matter be denied.
