RECOMMENDATION TO THE
LAUREL CITY COUNCIL
At a meeting of the Laurel-Yellowstone'City-County Planning
Board held.on January 12, 1984, after public notice and a public
hearing having been held, the Board recommends to the Laurel City
Council that the petition for an amended plat of Lots 29--37, East
Yellowstone Subdivision, in Block 31 (Dr. Beyl) be conditionally
approved subject to providing an additional 10 ft. right-of-way.
That the petition for Sunhaven Trailer Court Expansion 'an
addition to the City of Laurel" known as Block 5, Nutting Bros.
Subdivision be conditionally approved subject to extending parking
pads 15 ft. deeper into property and providing permanent trash.

from voting on Vannice PB 83-9. Minutes of previous meeting approved
as corrected.
Bills approved for payment: Engineering Department in the amount
of $200.00 for Administrative Services in January.

with conditions such as providing a performance bond for streets. Jim
Seaton says he prefers a contained court. Les Zuck said if he made
this a subdivision there would be only a total of two less accesses to
the street. Cumin: This poses major differences. Zuck: This is designed
exactly as Glentana Court which got impromptu hurrahs as an excellent
court from board. +,
Motion from Gerald Shay that on the basis this does not meet our
specifications this plat be denied, seconded by Jim Seaton. Vote: 4 foi,
4 against, with president voting against. Motion failed.
Motion from Hal Dantic to approve plat as presented except that
parking pads be extended 15 ft. deeper into property and permanent trash
rack required at entrance to drain pipe, seconded by Bus Roberts. Vote:
4 for, 4 against, with president voting for. Motion carried.
PUBLIC HEARING - BEYL REPLAT PB #83-10: Dr. Beyl is making 8 lots into
2. Plat Review Committee recommends approval subject to ceding another
10 ft. to highway right-of-way.
Motion from Gerald Shay to approve subject to 10 ft. right-of-way,
seconded by Jim Seaton. Approved by voice vote. Carried.
ROGER ANDERSON FOLLOWUP: He has 3 more trailers than law allows. After
two years of communications, the County Attorney will take court action
to force compliance. No further action required by Board.
Cumin wants Board's approval to write LARRY MEYERS a letter stating
that he should contact this Board before proceeding. Approval given.
Cumin says his discussion with the State people indicates that
going from more than 5 lots to 5 or less lots may currently be treated
as a minor plat, using the perspective of the finished product.
Meeting adjourned at 8:38 p.m.
