CITY OF LAUREL
Thank you for notifying us of the actions you have taken or plan to take regarding the findings
and recommendations contained in the audit report of the City of Laurel, for the fiscal year ended
June 30, 2008. Your auditor, Olness & Associates, PC, CPA(s), delivered that report to the City
on February 6, 2009.
Pursuant to State law, I've reviewed the City's response to the findings and recommendations
and am notifying you of my acceptance of this response and your proposed corrective actions.
Although I've accepted your response, I noted that most of your findings have been repeated
over the last few years. If you are having trouble implementing your proposed corrective actions
for these findings, you may wish to contact your auditor for help. We will be looking for the
City's progress in implementing your proposed corrective actions, with these findings, in future
audit reports.
