August 7, 1995
A special meeting of the City Council of the City of Laurel, Montana, was
held in the Council Chambers and called to order by Mayor Chuck Rodgers at 7:05
p.m., on August 7, 1995 for the purpose of ratifying the union wage agreement
and approving the non-union wages for 1995-96.
COUNCIL MEMBERS PRESENT:
Gay Easton
Bob Graham
Lonnie Kellogg
John Minch
Ron Marshall
Donna Kilpatrick
Albert Ehrlick
Chuck Dickerson
COUNCIL MEMBERS ABSENT: None
1995-96 UNION WAGE AGREEMENT:
Motion by Alderman Graham to ratify the union wage agreement for 1995-96
approving a 37 cent an hour wage increase retroactive to July 1, 1995, seconded
by Alderwoman Kilpatrick. Motion carried 7--1, with Alderman Minch abstaining.
NON-UNION WAGES:
Motion by Alderman Graham to approve a 37 cent an hour wage increase for
non-union employees which include the assistant DPW, city clerk, police chief~
police captain, police sergeant~ office staff, court clerk, librarian~ library
staff, janitors, and the city treasurer retroactive to July 1, 1995, seconded by
Alderman Ehrlick. Motion carried 8--0,
