Meeting of the Laurel-Yellowstone City-County Planning Board called
to order with the following members present:

• Minutes of previous meeting approved as sent out. Bills approved:
Public Works Department in the amount of $200 for Administrative
Services in February.
HOME OCCUPATION:
Richard Barnhardt, 618 2nd Avenue, requests a home occupation to
repair small engines in his garage. He wants to repair lawnmowers,
chain saws, sewing machines, etc.
Joe Bradley abstains because of residence across from proposed business.
Application amended to reflect a home occupation which would repair
sewing machines only. No recommendation from Cal Cumin.
Motion b Bob Rosselot to recommend that this home occupation be
allowed, second from Russell Bray. 4 votes for recommending approval
from Rosselot, Bray, Edwards, Kilpatrick.
SCHESSLER ZONE CHANGE PUBLIC HEARING: Petitioner requests a post-
ponement until March 12th Planning Board meeting.
Request granted.
GROSHELLE MINOR PLAT:
Discussion.
Motion from Grace Edwards, second by Bob Rosselot, to recommend
approval by the Yellowstone County Commissioners subject to adequate
right-of-way being dedicated as per request of the Yellowstone
County Surveyor's office. Motion carried unanimously.
PROPOSED ORDINANCES:
Motion from Joe Bradley, seconded by Gerald Shay, to correct clerical
errors in Section 18.28.020 and 18.20.020. Passed unanimously.
Motion from Grace Edwards, second by Joe Bradley, to recommend NOT
adopting change for Sections 18.32.020, 18.20.020, 18.72.050,
18.32.045 and amending Section 18.32.020 to say City may, in its •
discretion, check for omissions and errors. Passed unanimously.
Parki_n_g Variance
A parking space variance has been requested by Security Federal
Savings Bank for their new facility. Motion from Joe Bradley to
recommend changing the ordinance to allow reduction of width of
spaces in appropriate circumstances, seconded by Russell Bray.
Motion carried unanimously.
Don Gud ell repeats that Mace's zone change has been tabled indefinitely
as per telephone call to him (Gudgell).
Petition to vacate
A petition was presented to vacate 13th Street in Wilson Subdivision.
Motion from Bob Rosselot to disapprove the request, second by
Velda Thomas, on grounds that there is land to the east that
might be served by that street in the future. Passed unanimously.
Meeting adjourned at 8:33 p.m.
