Motion by Joe Bradley, seconded by Gerald Shay. Passed.
Recommendation from Cal Cumin, for expanding Food Processing
Commercial Zone, to allow cutting, packaging and processing
of carcasses and fresh frozen or locker meats. Example is
the new Jans IGA vacant building. Expansion of the zoning
will not allow cooking, slaughtering, processing or rendering
or odor from waste.
Motion from Donna Kilpatrick, to approve the expansion
of the Commercial Zone, to allow cutting, packing and processing
of carcasses and fresh frozen or locker meats. Expansion of the
zoning will not allow cooking, slaughtering, processing or
rendering or odor from waste. Seconded by John Smith. Passed.
Discussion Pelican RV Park:
This is outside the Laurel City County Zoning jurisdiction -
the Subdivision Improvement Agreement made the 6th of May,
1986 is in default.
ITEMS NOT COMPLETED:
No. 1 Paving of access road; No. 7; No. 8; No. 9; No. 12 and
no. 14.
Yellowstone and Laurel City County Planning to do the following:
Motion by Joe Bradley, to inform Frank Pelican, County
Commissioners, County and State Health Departments of Non-
Compliance of Subdivision Improvement Agreement Items No. 1,7,
8, 9, 12, and 14 specifically. Seconded by Russell Bray.
Motion carried.
Cal Cumin Discussed Land Uses:
Do a master plan for jurisdictional area. Problem is a master
plan prohibits future changes and thinking its a current
projection. Grace wants to see as a Commissioner, that Laurel,
Billings, and Yellowstone County work together in those areas
where zoning comes together or overlaps. Cal will keep bringing
up Land Use Long Range Planning.
Meeting Adjourned.
Respectfully submitted,
Don Gudgell, Secty pro tem
