Bradley, City Rep. Gerald Shay, County Rep. Clarence Foos, County Rep. Grace Edwards, County Rep. Don Gudgell, County Rep. Roy-Johnson, County Rep. Russell Bray, County Rep. Darrell Aaby, City Rep. Members absent: Chuck Dickerson, City Rep. Velda Thomas, City Rep. Others present: Cal Cumin, City Planner Cheryll Lund, Secretary Alden & Nina Gonzalez, 906 10th Ave., Laurel G?Q q HOME OCCUPATION Alden & Nina Gonzalez, of 906 10th Ave., Laurel, have applied for a Home Occupation to run Diamond Box A Bar N Video Service out of their home. They will do video recording of weddings, births, and other special events. No customers will come to the home, they will. use it for an office only. Cal recommends approval subject to no clients coming to the home. Motion by Russ Bray, seconded by Roy Johnson to recommend approval to the City Council subject to no clients coming to the home. Motion carried 9--0. Administrative bill for February and March for $ 400 and also a bill for Cumin Associates for $3,375 were presented and reviewed. Motion b Gerald Sha, seconded by Roy Johnson to approve both bills. Motion carried 9--0. 6'(tN ,a C. New Planning Legislation Cal spoke on some of the new Planning Legislation. The phone number to call to check on any bills is 1-800-237-5079. The phone number for the Legislature is 444-4800. Land Use Inventorv in Jurisdictional Area Discussion on the possibility of using some of the money that has been put aside for updating the jurisdictional area data base to make it easier to access information. There is $6,000 set aside and Cal figures it will -take approximately $2,500 to start. This data base could be cross-matched with other data bases, and Cal feels it would be very helpful. Land Use Controls in the Planning Board Jurisdictional Area Discussion on the proposed data base being helpful for Land Use Control. Discussion on using part of the Planning Board budget to get updated notebooks for all of the members who do not have them. There are approximately 5 members who have never had a notebook. Motion b Don Gud ell, seconded by Russ Bray to get new updated notebooks. Motion carried 9--0. A question is raised on Equipment Finders, on S.4th St., concerning the loading and unloading of equipment and the mess it causes on the street. Cal will mention it to Jim, City Engineer. Motion by Joe Bradley, seconded by Gerald Shay to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried 9--0. The Planning Board will make a recommendation to the City Council that the specific request for a home occupation designation be granted or denied. 4- The City Council will consider the. Planning Board's re- commendation concerning the specific home occupation designation and approve or deny it at their next regularly scheduled meeting.
