Others present: Cal Cumin, Cumin Associates Harold Williams, 519 Montana Ave., Laurel Cheryll Lund, Secretary Motion b Grace Edwards, seconded by Don Gudgell to approve the minutes of the September 14th & 21st meetings. Motion carried. Harold Williams - 519 Montana Avenue Mr. Williams spoke concerning his property at 519 Montana Avenue. He has had a hard time selling the property because there are 2 homes on one piece of property, one home being an apartment. He would like to divide the property into two properties and be able to sell them seperately. Someone from the County offices told him that he needed to appear before the Planning Board in order to get their approval to do so. Mr. Williams has had the property for sale since August of this year. Cal explains to Mr. Williams that in order to seperate the two properties he would have to adhere to the zoning laws for R-6,000. This means he would have to have a minimum of 6,000 sq. ft. in each piece of property. Because the property totals only 9,100 sq. ft. it would be impossible to have 6,000 in each parcel. Cal feels that he could appeal to the Board of Adjustment, but he doubts that they would agree to letting him have only 2,100 sq. ft. in one parcel. Cal suggests that Mr. Williams keep trying to sell the property. He has seen the property and feels that Mr. Williams has a very attractive package to sell to the right buyer. He just hasn't given it enough time. Mr. Williams thanks the Board for listening to his presentation and for their suggestions and encouragement. Proposed Amendment to ordinance on Special Review Public Hearinqs This is an intent to shorten the administrative process for Special Reviews that are unopposed. Tt would eliminate the Public Hearing that the City Council would have, and also shorten the time it would take the applicant to receive approval on the proposed project. Discussion on the wording of the Amendment. The Board feels that it is too wordy. Cal will re-word the Amendment. Motion by Chuck Dickerson, seconded by Don Gudgell, to present the re-worded Amendment to the Ordinance to the City Council for approval. Motion carried. Computer Mapping Project Cal reports that this project is moving right along. Motion by Don_Gudgell, seconded by Grace Edwards to approve the Administrative Services bill for $600.00 (September, October and November of 1989). Motion carried. Motion b Don Gud ell, seconded by Gerald Shay to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried.
