BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE

A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
Discussion regarding hiring summer help for the Street
Department. After reviewing the budget, it was recom-
mended that no hiring be done until after July 4th.
The committee granted permission for.Larry Peterson to get
bids on a dump body for the old garbage truck.
The committee granted permission for Larry Peterson to rent
a roller for street repair out of State Gas Tax money and
purchase one next July for approximately $5,000 from the
street budget.
The following budgets were reviewed:
Airport Authority
City Council
Board of Adjustment
Civil Defense
T.& A
Sids
Sid Revolving
Light Districts
A request by Don Hackmann that two "hopper out" or vent type
windows be installed in the Water/Clerk's office at a cost
of approximately $675.00, wa,s delayed until next fiscal year.
Next meeting scheduled for Monday, May 16th at 7:00 p.m.
Meeting adjourned at 9:30 p.m.
