A quorum 0 or more) present the followinp action was taken by the committee:

The March claims were reviewed and the committee recommended that they be paid.
Budget meetings will begin next Tuesday, April 8th at 4:00 p.m. Budgets to be
reviewed at that time will be the Mayor, City Council, and City Clerk.
Discussion regarding the cemetery dirt wagon. There was $950.00 budgeted this
year, but a new one costs about $1,600.00. The committee recommends using some of the
money budgeted for curb & gutter to purchase one.
D.L. McGillen, Fire Chief, was present to discuss purchasing a "quick attack"
truck with a 250 gallon water tank. This year's budget has $10,500.00 in it for
purchasing or building a used one, but they would rather consider purchasing a new
one for about $35,000.00. Darrell was asking if money could be transferred from
somewhere else to help purchase a new truck this year.
It was recommended that this item be considered in the 1986-87 budget.
