A quorum 0 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
STATE GAS TAX
Ernie had an updated figure for the cost of a chip spreader in
the amount of $7,941. This was included in the 1986--87 budget
and the committee recommends ordering it now so that it will be
here by July 1st.
WATER FUND
This review was continued from the last meeting. More reductions
were made.
The committee recommends to call all outstanding bonds ($15,000)
for the water reservoir and transfer the balance of cash on hand
(approximately $61,000) to the operating cash account and.use
$34,456 for the current budget. (In checking with the State code
7-7-4274, this cash must be transferred to the General Fund.)
SEWER FUND
The Budget/Finance Committee recommends that the Utilities
Committee consider a possible rate increase this fall.
The next meeting was scheduled for Tuesday, April 29th, at 5 pm.
Meeting adjourned at 6 pm.
