. BUDGET FINANCE COMMITTEE

A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
The committee met to finalize the preliminary budget.
The Revenue Sharing budget was completed along with a recommendation
to cut the Drug Program, Transient Donation, Senior Citizens,
and Senior Helping Hands allocation in half, since we are only
going to receive half of our funding this year. The GRS program
ends September 30, 1986, unless it is renewed.
All other remaining budgets were completed.
The preliminary budget will be presented to the City Council
June 17, 1986, for their review, and adopted at the July 15,
1986, council meeting, along with the preliminary tax resolutions.
A public hearing will be held August 6th at a Special Council
meeting.
The committee recommended to set the mill levy at 106 mills,
same as last year.
Meeting adjourned at 5:15 p.m.
