Members present: Chairman Rob Harris Donna Kilpatrick , Don Hackmann , Bob Gauthier B. Other's present:Dave Michael . Alan Crowe A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by the committee: The committee reviewed the February claims and recommended that they be paid.. Alan Crowe said that the County will be changing over to High Band Radios around July of this year. We need to order our equipment and to apply for new radio frequencies and the fee is about $400.00. The committee gave approval to write a manual warrant to send with the application. Dave Michael presented 2 informal bids for alum. One from Dyce Sales C $256.00 a ton and another bid from Van Waters and Rogers Q $269.40 a ton. A truck load (24 ton) from Dyce Sales would amount too $6,144.00. The committee recommended to purchase 24 ton from Dyce Sales in the amount of $6,144.00. Dave reported of having problems with the 10" meter at the refinery. Current estimate is about $3,000 to replace the meter. Purchase requisitions were submitted for the purchase of an unmarked used car for the police department in the amount of $2,500, and a waterous fire pump in the amount of $3.000 and sirens & light barsin:the amount of $2,650 for the fire department. Since these are budgeted items and the cash in on hand, the committee recommended purchasing these items. For the remaindeyr of the fiscal year, the committee recommends that all purchases over $300 be approved by the Budget/Finance Committee. Discussion regarding the budgeting process.
