BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE

the committee:
The committee reviewed the following 1987--88 preliminary budge.ts:
- Streets
- State Gas Tax
- City Shop
- Snow Removal
The committee recommends that the Snow Removal assessment be
decreased from $7 to $5 per 4200 sq. ft.lot.
- Sweeping
The committee recommends that the Sweeping assessment be increased
by 50% (commercial from 50? to 75? and residential from 16.66 to
25? per frontage foot.) The reason is that additional revenue is
needed to make the principle and interest payments on the new
sweeper.
Meeting adjourned at 6:15 p.m.
