BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE

A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
committee:
The committee reviewed the July claims, and recommended that
they be paid.
Purchase requistions were presented as follows:
WWTP Construction (75% Funded by EPA)
- Hand Railing for screw pumps $300.00
- Timers for Sludge Transfer Pumps $1,478.00
- Switch for water system on Head Works Bldg. $497.00
- CO Tester Probe $157.00
- High pressure washer & accessories $3,390.00
- Explosion proof area - keep door closed sign $30.00
Permanent gas detector & alarm $4,907.82
- Portable gas detector $2,487.00
- Steps on 4 clarifiers $1,000.00
$14,246.82
Toro lawn mower for water plant $405.00
Emergency training film for the ambulance Serv. $595.00
Duro test lights for FAP Complex $332.24
Purchase orders $500.00
Jerry Thomas, Yellowstone County Director of Finance,
discussed Fire District No. 7 and the freeze of assessments
due to 1-105. The mills are frozen for less than the contract
amount. The contract is based on 11.3 mills and the assessment
is based on 5.77 mills of the past year's taxable valuation.
There is sufficient funds in reserve to meet this years contract
amount of $47,040.00. The 5.77 mills will raise approximately
$40,000.00.
