A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:
The committee reviewed the January claims and recommended that
they be paid.
Cal Cumin discussed an area wide economic development program
and requested that the City of Laurel contribute $2,000 for
facilitators expenses. Other local governments and businesses have
contributed to the project. This will be considered in the 1988-89
budget.
Purchase requistions for budgeted items were submitted as
follows:
5 300 gallon garbage cans $ 500
6 repair clamps for water leaks 437
Oil distributor repair parts 611
Materials for constructing a storage
building at the city shop 3,500
Fire hydrant and a valve 946
Service orders, letterhead paper,
Council minute paper 715
The committee approved all of the purchase requistions submitted.
The committee reviewed the Mayor's mid-year budget report.
Meeting adjourned at 5:40 p.m.
