A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
The Committee reviewed the General Fund Budget and cut
$ 73,404.00. However, approximately another $141,000.00 needs
to be cut and the Committee referred the budgets back to the
• department heads and asked them to cut each of their budgets
by 10%. This will be very difficult, because most of the budgets
are already very tight. Capital equipment purchases is one area
that needs to be reviewed again. The budgets are at a critical
point of jeopardizing services.
The meeting was adjourned at 6:50 P.M. The next budget
meeting to review the 1989--90 budget is scheduled for July 11th
at 5:00 P.M.
