A quorum (3 or more) present the following action was taken by
the committee:

The committee reviewed the bid proposals for borrowing $26,000.00 to help finance
paying for the 20 air packs for the Volunteer Fire Dept.
Yellowstone Bank 8.9% simple interest
1st Security Bank 9.5%
The committee recommends accepting the bid from Yellowstone Bank for 8.9%
40 The Committee approved purchase requisitions as follows:
General Fund
--Desk Top Office Supply for 5 cases of copy paper 190.00
--Montana League of Cities & Towns for registration & travel
for Don Hackmann to attend the annual convention 301.24
The committee recommended changing the procedures for requiring purchase requisitions
from $100.00 to $200.00.
Bob reported that Jim was going to advertise for bids for a new garbage truck. The
bids will be opened by the Garbage Committee on August 29th with council approval
on September 5th.
Jim presented three bids for the sprinkling system in the ball field at Thompson Park.
Sylvan Nursery 9,948.00
A-1 Landscaping & Sprinkling Sys. 9,750.00
Able Sprinklers 9,245.00
The committee recommends accepting the bid from Abel Sprinkler in the amount of $9,245.00
Jim presented two different bids for the digester at the Sewer Plant.
Sandblasting:
• Wyoming Sandblasting & Painting 6,348.00
Coal Tar Application:
Wyoming Sandblasting & Painting 3,891.00
The committee recommends accepting both bids from Wyoming Sandblasting and Painting .
for sandblasting in.the amount of 6,348..00 and the coal tar application in the amount
of 3,891.00.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:10 p.m.
