A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
The Committee discussed the sale of two used garbage trucks with
Pak-More packers. The Committee recommended the sale of the
1983 Ford truck for $9500 and the 1978 GMC truck for $5500, to
H & K Trucking of Salt Lake City.
The Committee approved purchase requisitions as follows:
General fund
Traffic signs and supplies $ 700.00
1989 City election expense 1,654.22
MMIA insurance deductible on
Unterseher claim 350.00
Radio license for Fire Department 225.00
Garbaat_Fund
Airline ticket to Salt Lake City for
Time Reiter- training on new
garbage truck 260.00
The meeting was adjourned at 4:50 p.m.

RE: TRADE-IN ON NEW REFUSE TRUCK
Dear Dave:
As per our telephone conversation, this letter is to advise you
that H & K Truck Equipment will allow a trade-in price of $9,500.00 on
the 1983 Ford truck, and a trade--in price of $5,500.00 on the 1978 GMC
truck.
Consequently, the City of Laurel may deduct a grand total of
$15,000.00 from the purchase price of the new refuse truck at the time
of delivery.
If you have any questions or if I may be of any other assistance,
please don't hesitate to call.
