The Committee approved purchase requisitions as follows:
General Fund
• Extrication equipment for Fire Department $ 7,820.20
Upgrade IBM-PC XT Computer 550.00
Supreme Court School for City Judge 431.12
Computer, printer, & programs for City Court 3,716.52
City's share for Yellowstone County Air
Pollution control 2,999.00

Supplies for 3rd Avenue, 900 & 1000 blocks 6,350.00

Seminar on water treatment plant process control-

Discussion regarding the purchase of a used garbage truck
from the City of Billings. The Committee recommended that this
be brought to the City Council for discussion at tonight's
Council meeting. It may be better to purchase a new truck
for about $64,000.00 than put approximately $30,000.00 into a
used 1978 truck.
Discussion on the updating of an ordinance for employee
travel.
The Committee recommends that the travel allowance of
.20? a mile and the meals of $20.00 a day ($5-$5-$10),
remain the same. However, it's recommended that the room rate
be increased from $30.00 to $40.00 per day. An Ordinance will
be prepared for the April 3rd Council meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:32 p.m.
