A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
Discussion regarding the purchase of a used pickup for the
Sewer System to replace the one involved in an accident a few
months ago. Dave and Tim have looked at a 1980 Ford ? ton for
$2,700 and a 1986 Ford ? ton for $6,500. It was suggested that
• Dave check on the price of a new pickup before making any
decision on a purchase.
A different pickup is also needed in the Parks Department.
Jim Worthington briefed the Committee on the Thomson Park
Concession Stand Project.
Motion by Norman Orr, seconded by L.D. Collins to approve a+
a bid from Earl Grainger in the amount of $4,559.00 for footings,
foundation, floor slab, and plumbing for proposed sewer and
water systems. Motion carried.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:22 p.m.
