A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken
by the Committee:
Discussion regarding a scraper from Eagle Equipment for spreading 18 inches
of dirt over the landfill. To rent this equipment would cost approximately
$1,800.00 to $3,000.00 per week. We could purchase a used scraper for about
$9,500.00. It was the committees.recomendation to have our mechanic and some-
else check this piece of equipment out and if it is in good working order to
consider buying it.
Discussion regarding the utility bills for the museum. Kent Harris will come
to the next budget finance meeting to answer some questions that the committee
has.
Purchase Requisitions were reviewed and approved as follows:
General Fund
Becker Fire Equipment - Positive pressure smoke fan 950.00
Becker Fire Equipment - 30 gallons AAAF foam 650.00
Henry's Safety - 300 feet forest service hose replacement 300.00
Henry's Safety - Re-stock first aid kits 400.00
Darrell McGillen asked about the possibility of buying a new smoke generator.
The one the department is using now does not always work. The committee
recommended that Darrell check into this and report back.
