Darrell McGillen Dave Michael A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by the Committee: The Committee reviewed the November claims and recommended that they be paid. Don explained the proposed change from the warrant system to the check system and the Committee recommended the change. Discussion regarding the funding of a new ambulance in the amount of $80,000- $100,000.00. This is very difficult to budget for in the General Fund. When budget cuts are needed, capital outl-av usually gets cut first. There is a capital projects fund set up to buy an ambulance, but as of 11-30-90 there is only a balance of $3,923 in it. Possibly the City will transfer some money to this fund in 1991. There doesn't seem to be any grants available to fund emergency equipment. Purchase requisitions were approved as follows: General Fund Repair front-end of Car #4 $ 398.31 Fire prevention t-shirts & jackets . 327.75 Balance of lease on recorder at FAP 2,912.40 Water Fund 3 sump pumps 288.00 . 3- 150# chlorine cylinders 204.00 Replace curb, gutter, & sidewalk after fire hydrant installation 1,330.00 - ? r Page 2 Budget/Finance meeting of December 4, 1990 • Sewer Fund Parts for sludge pump $ 286.00 Lab supplies 204.00 Repair interface card for motor control center 542.00 Repair heating system in control building and shop 883.00 Garbage Fund Dumping fees 10/1/90 - 10/31/90 2,078.34 The meeting was adjourned at 5:05 p.m..
