HomeMy WebLinkAboutBudget/Finance Committee Minutes 12.18.19904 11 M I N U T E S BUDGET FINANCE COMMITTEE Date December 18 1990Time 4_ 30 p.m. Place of Meeting City Hall MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman- Donna Kilpatrick Bruce Teeters Norman Orr Don Hackmann Bob Gauthier OTHER'S PRESENT: Dave Michael Jim Worthington Chuck Rodgers A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by the Committee: Don presented a proposal to purchase a new computer to replace the NCR 9020. (see attached) The Committee recommended to set up a capital projects fund for the purchase of a computer. The Committee recommended that a cash transfer be made to the Capital Projects Fund for a Fire Truck, Ambulance, and a computer. Resolutions will be presented at the first Council meeting in January. The Museum has requested that payment on their utility bills ' be deferred until May. After a discussion, the Committee recommends approval of their request. Discussion regarding the Groshelle Pond that the county wants the City to take over. Dave mentioned that it could be used in the future as a surge pond. The problem is that there isn't any access to it. Possibly an easement could be obtained. Jim and Dave will check on ownership of land surrounding it and for possible easements.
