I 0 E BUDGET/FINANCE COMMITTEE Date May 29, 1991 Time 4:30 pm Place of Meeting MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman-- Bob Gauthier Bruce Teeters City Hall Donna Kilpatrick Don Hackmann Norman Orr OTHER'S PRESENT: Cheryl Marshall Jim Worthington Dave Michael Chuck Rodgers A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by the Committee: Cheryl Marshall reported that lightning has damaged the ambulance base station and encoder. The cost to replace these two items is estimated to be about $1,300.00. The Committee gave approval for Cheryl to purchase replacements. The Committee made several changes to the General Fund, State Gas Tax, and Police Training budgets. A 6% increase was recommended for the Water and Sewer funds. The Committee recommended to delay the construction of the building at the trasfer site until the 1992-93 budget, and not have a rate increase in the Solid Waste Fund. The garbage truck purchased in 19.90 will be paid for by February 1992. The new roll-off truck being purchased in June will be paid for in June 1994. The Committee decided to leave the 2 mills for Firemen's relief and the 2 mills for the Airport Authority in the preliminary budget.
