A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
The Committee reviewed the May claims and recommended
that they be paid.
Purchase requisitions were approved as follows:
General Fund
Supplies to patch & paint pool $ 676.00
Materials to patch pool 767.00
Ambulance base radio & encoder 1,300.00
Install ventilation system in bathroom
at Thomson Park 787.00
1- year subscription to Montana Law Week 235.00
Rosco smoke machine for Fire Department 801.63
Annual hose test- fire Department 600.00
10,000 daily equipment reports in books
of 100 350.00

Discussion regarding the quote from Touch America regarding
long distance calls and the Montana Watts line.
Motion by Bruce Teeters, seconded by Norman Orr, to stay
with A T & T. Motion carried 5--0.
It was mentioned that A T & T should be contacted to see
what program they might have for the Watts line.
Discussion regarding the "Clerk's Index" computer program.
This program indexs minutes, resolutions, etc.. The City has
been renting this program at $47.50 per month. The total cost
of the program is $950.00 and they will apply all of the rental
payments towards the purchase price, which after the July
payment will total $950.00. There is a one-time conversion
fee of $100.00.
Motion by Donna Kilpatrick and seconded by Norman Orr
to purchase the "Clerk's Index" program. Motion carried 5--0.
The Committee recommended approval for Joe Bradley to
attend a one day seminar in Billings on August 16th regarding
Major Land Use Laws in Montana, in the amount of $108.00.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:06 p.m.
