A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
Approved a purchase requisition to repair an ambulance
transmission for LA-1 in the amount of $450.00.
Approved one new vendor.
Discussion regarding bullet proof vests for Police reserve
. officers. They get into dangerous situations when on patrol
and working with a policeman answering calls. Reserve officers
have all of the powers of arrest. They must have regular police
officers available to assist.
Mike Atkinson will check into the prices and report back
to the Committee at the next Budget/Finance Committee meeting.
The meeting was adjourned at 5:00 p.m.
