Jim Worthington
A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by
the Committee:
Jim Worthington reported that he has one bid from a roofing
contractor in Billings and has contacted two local contractors
for bids to repair our hail damaged buildings. The local
contractors cannot do the work now, but there are four buildings
at Riverside Park that need the repairs immediately.
The Committee recommends that Midland Roofing repair 2
houses, J.C. Building, and American Legion building at Riverside
Park as soon as possible.
Discussion regarding the financial condition of the Solid
Waste Fund. The dumping fees are more than originally anticipated
due to roof repairs being done. Disposing of shingles has
greatly increased the cost of running the transfer site.
Discussion regarding the concession stand at Thomson Park.
Purchase requisitions were approved as follows:
General Fund
15 Motorola batteries for portable radios
for fire, ambulance and police
Employer contribution to PERS for James
Grace (worked at the Swim pool
1956-1959)
Treasurer receipt books, second notices
for City licenses, time sheet pages,
time tickets, and property cards.
Paper shredder for Police Dept.
