Collins OTHER'S PRESENT: Sharon Herman Dave Michael A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by the Committee: The Committee reviewed the claims for April and recommended that they be paid. A new radio is neededfor LA-1. The encoder does not work and the attendants cannot contact the hospitals. The wiring has been bad and there have been problems with the radio for a long time. If a new radio is purchased now, it could be used later in a new ambulance or installed in LA-3. The committee recommends purchasing a new radio for LA-1. Dave Michael presented informal quotes for a new k ton pickup. A Chevy would cost $10,612 and a Ford $12,500. Since this is over $10,000, advertised bids are required.
