A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by the committee:
Purchase requisitions were approved as follows:
General Fund
Tire Spreader 1,000.00
Calculator and Typewriter Ribbon

Water Systems
Design work for bridge replacement 83598.00

Concrete for container site 5,928.00
Discussion regarding a maintenance contract with TAC to extend its 2 visits to
4 on the heating system at the FAP building. They propose to do this additional
service for $88.00 per visit. The committee recommends approval of this service
contract.
Discussion regarding the closing of the landfill. It was suggested that the
Garbage dept. purchase the loader from the street dept. and that the street
dept, buy a new one. The old loader would have to be overhauled at a cost of
anywhere from $5,000.00 to $9,000.00 depending on its condition.
Don Hackmann stated that a new loader has not been budgeted for in the Street
dept. There is only $25,000.00 available in this years budget. It was suggested
that the $25,000.00 be used as a down payment on a new loader and that the
balance be finances until next years budget.
• Discussion regarding the concrete pads needed at the transfer site for the
containers.

0 Committee recommends approval of the following cash transfers:
$15,000.00 from General Fund Cash Operating to Capital Projects-Fire Truck.
$25,000.00 from St. Gas Tax to Capital Projects-Street Equipment.
$7,500.00 from General Fund Cash Operating to Capital Projects-Computer.
It was reported that the value of the caretakers house at Riverside Park for Carl
Hollabaugh has been changed to $300.00.
