Collins Norman Orr OTHER'S PRESENT: Dave Michael A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by the Committee: The City Treasurer received a request for payment on a bond for SID #10, issued in May 1915 (see attached copy). The Committee referred this to the City Attorney. Dave Michael presented two informal bids for a riding lawn mower in the amount of $5,698.00 and a Toro in the amount of • $4,147.20. Dave reported that the John Deere is a heavier and more durable machine. Motion carried. Bob Gauthier gave an update on the Volk Construction case. There is a verbal agreement between the attorneys and EPA for a settlement in the amount of $150,000 with EPA possibly paying about $77,000 and the City $73,000. Motion by Bob Graham, seconded by L.D. Collins to set up a meeting with EPA to establish a fixed amount for final settlement. Motion carried.
