Place of Meeting Cit H 1 MEMBERS PRESENT: Chairman- Donna Kilpatrick Bob Graham, Don Hackmann Chuck Rodgers Bob Gauthier Ron Marshall L.D. Collins Norman Orr OTHER'S PRESENT: -Dave Michael A quorum (3 or more) present, the following action was taken by the Committee: The Committee reviewed the October claims and recommended that they be paid. Several new vendors were approved. Bob Gauthier reported on a meeting with the EPA and Volk • Construction regarding a final settlement on the wastewater Treatment Plant. The settlement appears to be $150,000 with EPA participating with approximately $41,000, and the balance to be paid by the City. The EPA has done a desk audit and no "on site" audit is planned. All records must be retained for 3 years in case there is a complaint of some kind in the future. The Committee reviewed the ambulance committee minutes of November 2nd and concurs with their recommendation to advertise for a new ambulance. The cash balance in the ambulance Capital Project Fund as of November 4, 1992, is $44,682. The committee recommended to borrow the difference between the cost of a new ambulance and the cash available at the time of delivery, which could be around April or May of 1993. The Budget/Finance committee made this same recommendation on May 12, 1992. (see attached copy of minutes) There was a brief discussion regarding the BFI proposal. The Garbage committee is not ready to make any recommendations at this time. It will go back to the Garbage Committee for further discussion.
